My question is whether to develop soft skills in a job and then move into a sustainability/climate/biodiversity focused company, or to try and volunteer with said companies and build experience in a role this way?

At the moment on LinkedIn there are so many people hiring, but for uninspiring corporate jobs which don’t help the climate and nature crisis at all. It would be great to have a section on career advice or where people explain what they’ve done and how they made their moves…to show how it can be done?

A lot of good communities are here already, like Work On Climate, Bloom or ClimateU.

As I see it, maybe a more added value feature would be to be able to "plan" the professioprofessionalnnal transition, and visualize the progress made. No perfect job will be found quickly. It would be helpful to see where I am now in my job, what my dream job would look like,like and what steps I can take to go that direction. Seeing the progress being made is a huge relief and helps alleviate anxiety, as movement is key.

Maybe when looking at what I neeneed,d I can be pointed out to courses I can take, such as the ones in TerraDo, and Wildya get a cash back for referral?
