Have a positive news section
Gabriel Tual
- to counterbalance negative news provide users with positive news that are happening
- ideally localized, because if you are in Spain it doesn't effect you as much if there are positive news in Argentina
- sometimes very hard because scrolling endlessly on Linkedin, Insta and co and just negative news, want to have one place to come to to get cheered up
- e.g. Flooding in your region -> here is a reforestation project close by

I love this idea because personally after seeing so many stories of doom and negativity, it can really lift spirits and help wi the anxiety to see something positive, like an awesome project or company!
It also helps spread awareness of these projects and people can get involved, or inspired.
Treeapp and Treekly come to mind, but there are so many companies and stories out there that could be featured. Maybe one/two a week on a section in the app called “Inpsiring News” or something?

Joseph Williams: great idea. And would those need to be full articles or only snippets of what happened?
Joseph Williams
Oliver Dauert I think just snippets! If it’s interesting to users, they can then go and research it more. Not only do you educate yourself on a climate positive story or company, but it provides a distraction from the anxious thoughts and overthinking that you probably came to the app for!
I think it’s important to pick out really amazing parts of projects that speak to people rather than overwhelming them with so much information. Would be a great research project too…I’d love to help!

Joseph Williams ok perfect! Yes we could always provide links to more info and so the ones that want to take a deeper look can go down the rabbit hole.
Will definitely take you up on that one!
